Megastar Chris Evans joins the search for the perfect cheese sandwich
Since we unveiled our innovative Cheddarometer on Friday 20 June an amazing 42,000 cheese lovers have logged on to doscover the blueprint for their perfect West Country Farmhouse Cheddar sarnie.
And our extensive research didn't go unnoticed by Radio 2s superstar DJ Chris Evans. He had planned to interview one of the players at Wimbledon but after a cancellation we were very happy to step in with our own advice on the perfect serve. He featured the Cheddarometer website on his show on Wednesday 25 June and it has been serving as a trailer to his show all this week.

Royal ploughmans for the Countess
After last years washout , the sun shone brightly on The Countess of Wessex as she attended the PDO lunch and presented Parkham farms with cups for both the reserve champion cheese and best PDO West Country Farmhouse cheddar. The show was a triumph for our other farmhouse cheesemakers too with a total of 40 medals and 7 special awards, just rewards for all the care and craftsmanship that goes into all our handmade cheeses.
